Where did the name CasRad originate?
A college roommate gave birth to the phrase, “Casual Radical” or “CasRad” to describe a thought process or a way of living. I’ve always been partial to the idea.
My Casual Radical or CasRad approach to art is found in my expressive use of color and meaningful brush work. I’m an aspiring plein air artist and colorist. However, being “CasRad” also encompasses my approach to selling my paintings. For piece sold, I donate a portion of the sale price to charity/nonprofits that I support. I also volunteer in our local community and believe art can help others.
If it’s right to do right, then it’s smart to do right. Right here from the most beautiful city on the planet: Nolensville, TN.
